What makes its rise especially fitting for winter gaming is how it spread. Short, funny gameplay clips shared on social media (particularly Instagram, where one clip reached over three million views) captured moments of harmless fun that felt instantly relatable. By January, when the Steam page arrived, people already knew the rhythm. They added it to their lists without second thoughts, numbers climbing past any forecast.
